Important Right of Way Tips to Remember

  • When planting trees consider the height of the tree once it is mature.  Never plant trees near a power line that could grow within 30 feet of it.
  • Don’t plant near underground utility services.  Roots can interfere with underground wires.
  • Keep the area around electric meters and service poles clear of vegetation that could limit access.
  • ALWAYS call before you DIG!
